Painted this on a break from commissions.
I actually don't really know whether I'm gonna like the new Toho Godzilla or not. Damn guy's so ugly, people could die just from looking at it!   
This Godzilla looks more like mutated lava flows than a mutated ancient creature. 
One thing's for sure is that I don't like the ridiculous overly-long-ragdolling tail. I hope it won't look that silly in the movie proper.

Update: So I have watched the movie, and uh, I guess I'd decide to... "appreciate", for a lack of a better word, this Shin Gojira (I am referring to the creature). I was really surprised by its atomic breath. And damn that tail tip is disgusting!  . Still don't like the tail's seemingly lack of mass, but at least the movie reveals why the tail behaved like that.

But the movie itself was... I don't know, rather peculiar, maybe. I cannot say that I don't like it, but I just feel.... longing, from it's odd pacing.
